Single Multi Mode Steel Tape Armored Fiber Optic Cable GYTS
Description
Fibers, whether single or multi-mode, are placed within a loose tube composed of high modulus plastic.
These tubes are filled with a water-resistant compound. At the core, a steel wire, occasionally encased in
polyethylene for higher fiber count cables, acts as the metallic strength member. This arrangement is str-
anded around the core to form a compact circular cable core. PSP is longitudinally applied over the cable
core, which is then filled with the protective compound to prevent water ingress. Finally, the cable is enca-
sed in a PE sheath.
Application
1 Tailored for outdoor distribution, ensuring durability and resilience in varied environmental conditions.
2 Ideal for aerial installations and pipeline laying methods, facilitating versatile deployment options.
3 Designed for both long-distance & local area network communication, providing reliable connectivity.
Characteristic
1 Excellent mechanical strength and temperature resilience.
2 Hydrolysis-resistant, high-strength loose tube for fiber protection.
3 Specially designed tube filling compound offers crucial fiber protection.
4 Superior crush resistance and flexibility for versatile use.
5 PE sheath shields the cable from UV radiation.
6 Water-tight features include a steel wire central strength member, loose tube and cable core filling, and
PSP for moisture-proofing.
