Reliable Fiber Optic Cable For Long-Distance Communication & Local Area Networks
Description
The fibers are housed within high-strength plastic tubes filled with a water-resistant compound. Positioned
at the core's center is a steel wire, potentially coated in polyethylene for cables with higher fiber counts, se-
rving as a metallic strength element. These tubes and fillers encircle the strength member, forming a compact,
circular cable core. To safeguard against water, the core is filled with a protective compound and enclosed in
a thin PE inner sheath. After applying PSP (Polyethylene Terephthalate), the cable is finalized with a PE outer
sheath.
