High Strength Single Jacket 4 To 96 Cores ADSS Fiber Optic Cable
Description
The ADSS single-sheathed fiber optic cable is built with a stranded loose tube design. Inside this tube,
optical fibers are housed within a waterproof compound for protection. The tube, along with fillers, is tw-
isted around a non-metallic strengthening member (FRP3) to create a compact cable core. This core is
then layered with water-blocking tape and reinforced with Kevlar Aramid fiber for added strength. Finally,
the cable is completed with an extruded jacket, which can be either a PE or an AT jacket.
Application
The cable is commonly utilized for self-supporting aerial installations or overhead applications.
Characteristics
1 Mechanical and Temperature Performance: Ensures consistent functionality across various temperatures
and mechanical stress levels, guaranteeing reliability in diverse conditions.
2 Hydrolysis-Resistant High-Strength Loose Tube: Durable tube design that resists hydrolysis, providing
prolonged performance even in moist conditions.
3 Specialized Tube Filling Compound: Essential protection for enclosed fibers, enhancing their durability
and overall performance.
4 Crush Resistance and Flexibility: Balances resistance against pressure with flexibility, enabling versatile
installation without compromising durability.
5 Parallel Steel Wires for Tensile Strength: Enhances tensile strength by utilizing two parallel steel wires,
reinforcing the cable's structural integrity.
6 Compact, Lightweight Design for Easy Installation: Engineered with a small diameter and lightweight build
for user-friendly and efficient installation processes.
