Double Armored Double Sheathed Stranded Outdoor Optical Cable GYTA53
Description
The cable construction includes optical fibers housed in a high-modulus plastic loose tube filled
with a water-resistant compound. At the core, a steel wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene
for high fiber count cables, acts as the metallic strength member. Surrounding this core, tubes and
fillers are stranded to create a compact, circular cable core. This core is filled with a compound to
prevent water ingress, followed by the application of a thin PE inner sheath. The cable is further
reinforced with a longitudinally applied PSP layer and finished with a PE outer sheath to enhance
durability and protection against external elements.
